The guests each speak in turn, naming themselves as follows: "Mary Frodsham Greenhow," W.H. Greenhow's mother; "R. C. Wombough," i.e., Rachel Cornelia (Loveland) Wombough, born 1815; "E. J. Wombough," i.e., Emma J. Wombough, R.C.'s daughter-in-law and the widow of Charles Wombough, whose first wife had been W.H. Greenhow's sister Maggie (d. 1882); "Mabel Wombough," daughter of Charles and Maggie (Greenhow) Wombough; "Helen Wombough," daughter of Charles and Emma J. Wombough; then W.H. Greenhow says: "Little Jennie Wombough, twelve years old, declines to give her name; she will be excused on account of bashfulness"; she was another daughter of Charles and Emma J. Wombough; then: "R. C. Wombough, born in Delaware County, Franklin, Delaware County, eighteen hundred fifteen, eighteen hundred and fifteen"; then W.H. Greenhow: "We've had a very entertaining afternoon with the phonograph, we hope that all have enjoyed it," etc.; he sings an unidentified song about the woods in summer. Finally, R.C. Wombough speaks again: "I came to Addison, to this county, in thirty-seven. I've lived in one place sixty years or two [laughs]. Now I ... ... Henry Wombough ... came to Addison in eighteen hundred four."
